Mt. Zion's Christian Education Board has many ministries that help serve the whole church body.
Seasoned Saints: Reaching out to the members who are 62 years old and up
Military Ministry: To help serve those in the military and their families
Young Adult Ministry: Activities and fellowship geared towards those who are 18-35+
Marriage Enrichment Ministry: Connecting those married or planning to get married
The Christian Education Board presents Christian Hip Hop Night every 5th Sunday at Mt. Zion at 6pm. Many local Christian artists come and rock the house for Jesus along with other churches that bring their praise dancers and choirs. Mt. Zion has a praise team that performs as well.
Mt. Zion's Sunday School has 4 arms: Reaching, Winning, Teaching and Maturing to provide a path way to an effective Sunday School Ministry that is specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and timely. Sunday School is a branch of Christian Ed. and meets every Sunday in the sanctuary at 9:30am except for the 5th Sunday. The 5th Sunday is a time where newly called ministers at Mt. Zion bring the word under the Pastor's leadership.
Throughout the year Christian Ed puts on many events including; a Basketball Marathon, Double Day in May, Year End Celebration, Seasoned Saints recognition, Military Appreciation Month, and much more. They also attend the workshop "Tools of the Trade".
